Green Front Furniture, one of the leading Virgnia furniture retailers specializing in unique furniture, rugs, and decor from around the globe as well as from right here in the United States is actively seeking an experienced Sales Team Member to join our team at our Northern Virginia, Manassas location. Our sales Team Members play a key role in the success of our business because they create the experience that Green Front is known for- allowing customers the freedom to discover their own style while guiding them through the wide range of options we offer.

Skills and Abilities: The Sales Team members' main duty is to offer customers merchandise recommendations while helping them to explore Green Front's many options. Sales Team Members build relationships, transforming first-time visitors into lifetime customers. They work with customers to find the pieces that match their vision and style, whether they are updating their living room with a new sofa or outfitting an entire vacation home.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate industry knowledge, including a full understanding of customer service, a desire to help customers achieve their design goals, and the ability to make various product recommendations. Excellent visualization and conception skills are a must. In addition, the candidate will have the desire to learn and innovate.

The right person must also be self-motivated with effective communication and problem-solving skills, driven to implement efficient and logical processes, resilient (with the ability to handle stress), and able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment. Sales Team Members must be available to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. One to two years of retail sales experience and basic math skills required, furniture retail a plus. Must be able to successfully pass all required background checks and other pre-employment screening.
